MARK MUNITZ
Mark Munitz grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and although he lives in Hong Kong he operates globally. He has always had an intense passion for whisky, not only whisky but all aspects of the collection, trading and auctions. He is an avid collector himself. When his first son was born his father gave him a bottle of Royal Salute to open on his 18th birthday. This is such a special gesture and has become a tradition in the family.

Whisky is a Gaelic word meaning ‘water of life’, originating over a thousand years ago. As the story goes, travelling monks brought the art of distillation to Scotland and Ireland. Without the vineyards of Europe, they turned to fermenting grain. This was the first distillation leading to modern whisky.
